Disneyland and Disney California are major attractions in Los Angeles. Right across from the Disneyland is the Disney California theme park. It’s the newer of the two and offers quite a few not to miss adventures. Aladdin show, Soaring over California, Radiator Springs Cars, It’s tough to be a bug, Monster’s Inc, Parade and Water of color are a must see. And if you want to have an adventurous time, you’ll like Twilight Tower of Terror and California Screamin.

Universal Studios is especially attractive to movie buffs and film lovers. Visitors can take various kinds of tours around the studios. One can experience behind-the-scenes and the magic of Hollywood films on the world famous Studio Tour. One can take a look at the sets, backgrounds and processes that make up film making at the Special Effects Stage.

Universal Studios also has many thrilling rides such as Revenge of the Mummy and Jurassic Park. Some of the popular rides are related to the Fast and Furious, Simpsons and Transformers movie franchises. Halloween Horror Nights and WaterWorld are also very famous.

There are special areas where memorabilia from different films are on display. In the theme park, various costumed characters roam around and one can get a picture with their favorite characters.

Hollywood Walk of Fame is a desired destination for those who are in love with the celebrities. Having a picture taken next to one’s favorite personality’s star on the sidewalk is the next best thing to having a picture with the favorite himself/herself.

The famous Hollywood sign sprawled across the hills is another well known symbol of Los Angeles. The Kodak Theater is located nearby. It is the home of the Oscars. Santa Monica is no ordinary beach. It has an amusement park, restaurants, shopping complexes, gift shops and areas for fishing. On the Pier there are several opportunities for recreation and enjoyment. The beach itself is a busy spot, with beach lovers cycling, paddling or surfing all day long. It also includes the Pacific Park, which boasts of a Ferris Wheel overlooking the magnificent bay. It also has other rides, roller coasters and games.
